about

"All those people who think they are better than me, and those who sperarate my body from my soul (though I do ignore them) viewing it as a useless thing are as dead as a door-nail. As dead as you are. They will not see anything new but their own false reflections. Oh dear, what nonsense I am talking! I guess I must have been alone too long."

Scindite is a Polish duet consisting of two original and adventurous improvisers: Adam Mankowski and Bartlomiej Michal Gorecki. Mankowski - also known as Insomnia and Limited Liability Sounds - is a producer who is in charge of music textures and atmospherics. Gorecki alias BRTLMJ MCHL GRCK is a vocalist and lyricist. Their latest project is the result of numerous musical and non-musical inspirations that they both draw from every little thing they hear. The most thrilling musical experience they get from the ether they move through is often analysed and reviewed by them in the zins they write for. Scindite may be considered synonymous with a free unrestrained artistic vision filled up with noisy electronics, dissonant industrial and classical music. The duo music, which is meaningful but hard to define, gives us an entirely free hand to see whatever we want to see during the act of listening. And the stories it tells are of emotional disruption and bleak naturalism. Fancy getting yourself down a bit with the music the guys make? Then try to lend it an ear and do not get surprised if it kicks you out of your shell you are hiding in.

Scindite debut EP will be released this autumn and it will include four completely new pieces of music and a cover song. The musicians are now working on a full-length album which will probably be out in the spring of 2015.
